The Egyptians also saw the ring as a symbol of eternity; however, to them the ring also held other meanings. The ring was a symbol of the deities of the sun and the moon, which were looked upon as all-powerful to these people.

The main chemical that you will find in a brain that is in love is dopamine. This is a chemical that the brain naturally produces, but it produces more of it when you are in love. The caudate nucleus in the brain keeps signaling for more dopamine, and therefore the brain continuously produces it. This is what makes falling in love feel so wonderful.

There are many different ideas on where the symbol of Cupid came from, but most people agree that the name is derived from Chaos. Cupid symbolizes the feeling of love at its most primal beginnings. This is the symbol of desire, which is one of the main forces of love. Most relationships have started with lust, which then turned into love. Therefore, Cupid is the symbol of the beginning.

Most of these people can get through this time with therapy, but other people have to be put on antidepressants in order to live a normal life. You may wonder how this could possibly affect love. Antidepressants increase the amount of serotonin that is produced in the brain. If you have high levels of serotonin in your brain, then you may notice that your emotions are blunted. This chemical will also stop you from having obsessive thoughts about your love. Both of these things are needed if you are to fall in love.

If you have ever been in a relationship with someone, then chances are high that you have either given or received roses. This is because they are a symbol of love. The different colors of roses signify the different feelings of love that you may have for another person. Red roses are used to symbolize passion and love. Light pink roses typically symbolize passion and are typically given in the beginning of a relationship. Of course, there are other meanings that go along with the other colors of roses. For example, yellow roses usually stand for friendship. Keep in mind that not all roses symbolize positive feelings.

Fall in Love Before Marriage



You may not know this, but many people will fall in love a total of seven times before they get married. Of course, there are many people that decide that when they first fall in love with someone, that this will be the person that they will marry. Oddly enough, in most cases, this is not true. If you do not believe it, count all of the different people that you fell in love with before you married your significant other. You will be surprised to find that the number of people that you fell for will be close to seven.

Love and the Engagement Ring




In many cases, when people fall in love, they may decide to become engaged to get married. When the engagement happens, typically the man will place a ring on the fourth finger of his betrothed's left hand. You may think this is just a tradition, but there is a reason for this and it stems back to the ancient Greeks. They believed that this was the finger that the vein of love ran through. This vein supposedly ran straight to the heart. This is the reason why we place engagement rings on that finger today. Wedding bands are also placed on this same finger.
